Mark Malabuyoc

Physiotherapist BMRPT / Co-Owner

Meet Mark, our physiotherapist. Graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2009, he has primarily worked in the orthopedic sector. Mark has a passion for physiotherapy and fitness. In his spare time, he likes to read, exercise and spend time with his family. Mark has also taken some continuing education such as the Prague school of Athletic Development with Craig Lebenson, Dynamic Neurostabilization A, B, and sport, Juana Approach, Anatomy Trains, Stuart McGills rehab of the back, SFMA 1, and Vleemings pelvic girdle. He has been influenced by Shirly Sahrman, Ghray Cook, Kelly Starret and strength coaches Dan John, Mike Boyle and Pat Flynn. Mark has worked with all types of clients from children, weekend warriors, everyday athletes and our elderly, all with the same goal - to get you back to doing what you love and not miss the important things in life, whether they’re big or small.

Jason Moniz

Athletic Therapist CAT(C), B.E.S.S. / Co-owner

Jason treats sports-related, musculoskeletal injuries and works hard to help his patients regain strength and mobility. Jason has experience treating a variety of athletes in various organizations, including the Canadian Major Indoor Soccer League, Northern League Baseball, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Disney on Ice, Western Hockey League, American Hockey League, National Hockey League, Major League Soccer, Canadian Women’s Hockey League and Soccer Canada, just to name a few.

CATC, Bkin. Athletic Therapist

Carly graduated from The University of Winnipeg in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Therapy and certified as an Athletic Therapist in 2011 with the Canadian Athletic Therapist's Association. Growing up she was a competitive gymnast for 9 years and was always intrigued learning about the human body. Carly is a true believer in physical activity and the health benefits of it for all lifestyles!

William

Occupational Therapist

William is an Occupational Therapist with over 10 years of experience specializing in Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention. He has worked with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, where he actively contributes to the development of policies, injury prevention standards, and initiatives tailored to the unique needs of his clients. William’s expertise extends to providing ergonomic consultations, addressing various aspects such as workstations, safe patient handling, and materials handling. Furthermore, William offers consultative services focused on musculoskeletal injuries and injury prevention. This includes valuable assistance in disability case management, crafting effective return to work programs, and conducting comprehensive physical demands analysis. His approach to practice is deeply rooted in evidence-based, client-centered care, ensuring the highest level of care and support.

Brian "Ko Long" Choi

Physiotherapist Exam Candidate

When he's not helping patients feel their best, Brian loves hopping on his bike to explore the scenic trails and hidden gems of Manitoba. A foodie at heart, he enjoys whipping up delicious Asian dishes in the kitchen and has a serious green thumb when it comes to taking care of plants and flowers. Brian is an internationally trained physiotherapist with over 15 years of hands-on experience in both acute and long-term care. He has a special passion for treating TMJ, neck, shoulder, and hand pain. Lately, he's been diving into the latest rehab tools and techniques to help patients better manage pain and build strength throughout the body. With Brian, you're in caring, capable, and constantly curious hands!

Ekanem Elijah is a Physiotherapist (Exam Candidate) with over seven years of experience helping people recover from injury, manage pain, and move with confidence. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and is currently practicing in Manitoba while completing the requirements for Canadian physiotherapy practice. His care is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education. With a background in volleyball and soccer, Ekanem has a strong appreciation for movement, injury prevention, and functional rehabilitation. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with family, which shapes his compassionate, patient-centred approach to care. He is passionate about supporting clients in achieving their goals and returning to the activities that matter most to them.

Sabrina

Physiotherapist Exam Candidate

Originally from Brazil, Sabrina earned her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from the Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina in 2001 and has been passionately helping people move and feel better ever since. With years of clinical experience under her belt, she also shared her knowledge as a university instructor in Brazil before becoming a Full Pilates Trainer in 2018. Today, Sabrina uses evidence-based physiotherapy to create personalized treatment plans that truly support her patients’ recovery. After moving to Winnipeg, she completed her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Manitoba in 2022 — just another way she continues to raise the bar in her profession. Sabrina is known for her warm, caring approach and dedication to making sure her patients feel comfortable and empowered on their healing journey. Outside the clinic, you’ll find her enjoying quality time with her family, biking around the city, or taking peaceful walks in nature.

Rafael is an example of a truly satisfied client turned practitioner! After being an acupuncture client for over 20 years, he decided it was time to switch sides. Rafael completed his acupuncture training at Hua Xia Acupuncture Massage & Herb College and in 2025, became a proud member of the Manitoba Professional Acupuncture Association. Today, Rafael practices at Harbourview Therapy in Winnipeg, where he dedicates his full attention to helping clients achieve balance, pain relief, and overall wellness through acupuncture in Winnipeg. His personal healing journey continues to inspire his passion for providing evidence-based, compassionate care to every patient he treats.

Experienced Administrative Assistant and Scheduling Coordinator with a strong background supporting fast-paced, multidisciplinary office environments. Highly proficient in SAP, ERP systems, Aconex, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and basic AutoCAD. Recognized for optimizing workflows, coordinating complex schedules, and supporting staffing operations to improve efficiency and service delivery. Known for providing high-level administrative and customer service support while maintaining organization, accuracy, and professionalism. Outside of work, I enjoy reading and following football.
